Begin with the actual product identity

Jar & Field connects three selected US purchase records: Savannah Bee Wildflower Honey 12 oz, Bonne Maman Strawberry Preserves 13 oz and Stonewall Kitchen Wild Maine Blueberry Jam 12.5 oz. These are different foods, not three versions of one formula. The names help identify what a shopper intends to buy before price or quantity is compared. We retain preserves for the Bonne Maman product rather than casually renaming it jam or jelly.

Do not infer texture from a broad category

Bonne Maman's own FAQ distinguishes its preserves, made with pieces of fruit, from jelly made with fruit juice and from jam made with crushed fruit or puree. That is useful manufacturer context, not a texture test performed by this site or a universal legal classification for every brand. Stonewall's selected product is named jam. Honey has a different ingredient and sourcing context altogether. A general spreads shelf should not erase those distinctions on an actual order line.

Keep quantity and ingredients attached

The selected front labels declare net weights, not fluid volumes:12 oz/340 g for the honey,13 oz/370 g for the preserves and 12.5 oz/354 g for the blueberry jam. The preserved fruit products also contain their own listed sugars, pectin and acid ingredients. A product name alone does not establish a sugar percentage, a fruit percentage or a personal nutrition advantage. Those fields need their own actual panel or manufacturer statement.

Choose a useful next check

If a shopper wants visible fruit pieces, an exact ingredient list or a particular package size, identify that requirement before selecting an offer. No taste, spreadability or cooking performance has been tested here. The local product finder displays the captured record and its unknowns; it does not rank flavors or decide a personal dietary question. Keep the full product name and selected size on the purchase note so a later substitution remains visible.

A substitution note should preserve the reason

If an order calls for Strawberry Preserves because fruit pieces are wanted, a smooth jelly is a change in the requested product rather than a harmless wording variation. If the requirement is only a particular flavor in a sealed single jar, the buyer may make a different intentional choice. Record that reason before comparing price. This avoids a later purchaser assuming that every item under spreads is interchangeable. The reference does not decide a recipe substitution or guarantee texture; it identifies the exact name, selected package and source description so that the buyer can evaluate a proposed alternative without losing the original requirement.
